Eco SAfari Lodges Kruger Park SAfari Vacation Options

It's not 'different' that makes these lodges special. It is the intention and purpose behind the concept of having an eco-friendly lodge and hence, environment. At the heart of the owners is something true, something real. And that is the preservation of our wildlife and ecological environment. While here, allow some of this purpose to rub off on you.

Baobab Ridge
lies within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

Offering sweeping views out over the African bush in front of the ridge on which it is built, Baobab Ridge's pool deck is the perfect place for serious relaxation in between game activities and meals!

Overlooking a permanent waterhole that attracts a wide variety of wildlife species throughout the day (and night) - there's always something going on at the pool deck, so be sure to have your binoculars and camera to hand when spending time here.

Bateleur SAfari Camp
a private eco lodge in the Timbavati Game Reserve

The camp offers very spacious, comfortable safari units with a unique design. Each unit has: a thatched A-frame roof with supporting gum-pole structure and covered patio; canvas sides with large windows offering fixed mosquito screens and roll-down flaps; double wooden front doors with fixed mosquito screens and roll-down flaps for the top half; a large en-suite bathroom.

Rest assured that you are truly in a reserve that cares for nature and the impact humans make on the environment. Here solar power is used wherever possible, such as for fans and lights. Kitchen appliances have been sourced for a minimal draw and LED lights are utilized throughput the camp and staff quarters.

Mdluli SAfari Lodge
A community lodge in the Kruger National Park

Nothing comes close to the serenity of the African bush. Wake up to the sounds of the bush, have a lie in with a hot cup of coffee and enjoy the views from your tent, or head out for an early morning game drive.

Mdluli SAfari Lodge is the story of one man’s vision for the land, and for the Mdluli people. Today this land is significant for many reasons. It is a sustainable tourism initiative, and each guest’s stay leaves a lasting positive impact. The lodge is founded on 4 core pillars, namely a partnership with the Mdluli Community, wildlife conservation and preservation, ecological design, and the storytelling guests to this special place will forever carry with them. The lodge is a blueprint for best practice community development projects in South Africa.
